Top Stories

  • New Office building
    In September, 2013 the long awaited office building at the nursery was completed and ready for business. The new office is a used modular building with 2 offices, an ADA bathroom and central meeting space. The addition of indoor plumbing and warm (and cool) space to meet, work and relax have proved to increase staff productivity and effectiveness. Come by and see the new space for yourself!

  • Greenhouse work completed
    April 2013 marked the completion of two new greenhouses. The additional space will allow us to double our production of seedlings and small cuttings.
  • New Manager
    March 1, 2013 we welcomed Ross Rooper to our staff as the nursery manager. Ross comes to us from Wallowa County and is looking forward to helping the nursery become more efficient and sustainable. Ross has a wide variety of work experiences, most notably, nursery management (of course) and landscape architecture. He has worked in NE Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
